·                    Rafting and kayaking - the 2005 World Cup Rafting Championships was hosted here, and local rivers are well renowned

·                    Baeza - waterfalls located amidst primary forest with a trail leading to the 'Experimental Farm'. This is a government funded scheme to promote sustainable alternatives to cattle farming in the area, and is an interesting project to visit to learn about native plants and animals, (tapir, capybara, peccary) permaculture principals, and how to live off the land
